FIRSTLY…

A LITTLE
BIT ABOUT ME

I'm passionate about design, I work quickly, am straight forward to work with and I’m always interested in a new challenge to push my capabilities further. I have a strong commercial hand writing showing variety in style and technique yet always remaining focused on the target customer whether it be a new or existing brand or company.

I love the variety freelance life brings.  Drawing, painting, designing using the Adobe Creative Suite as well as a range of pens, pencils and paints with my trusty scanner. The work I do makes me feel like I'm living my childhood daydream…actually getting to be creative everyday!

I graduated from DMU Leicester with a BA Hons (2.1) in Printed Textiles and have been working as a freelance designer since 2003.  I have been lucky enough to see my artwork on a wide range of products and publications.  From cards & giftware to chocolate boxes & ice cream carts, brochures & posters to childrenswear and books, windows, teddies and so much more. The buzz of seeing my artwork being put to good use never fades!

“Beth always creates such wonderful outcomes, and makes the whole process feel so easy and enjoyable!”

“Beth is extremely easy to work with, accurately interpreting briefs & with a professional grasp of deadlines, topped off with her easy-going personality. We have worked with her for many years and I would have no hesitations in recommending Beth and her services.”

MY APPROACH TO YOUR PROJECT

I work with businesses of all sizes, from small start ups to larger corporate companies and marketing teams, as well as schools and charities. My personal approach means that I can work closely with clients and develop a real understanding of the project in order to produce designs that closely match their requirements, branding and ideas.

STEP 1: BRIEF

The more information I have from you the better equipped I am to I provide you with the designs that work for you. Don’t worry if you are struggling for ideas, this is also something I can guide you with. At this stage we can outline your requirements, agree on deadlines and budget. I LOVE a deadline, it helps me work more efficiently if I know I have to deliver by certain time/date.

STEP 2: INITIAL DESIGNS

Once I have all the information the design process can begin, the fun bit! I can put together an initial idea, or multiple depending on the brief and agreements from step 1.

STEP 3: FEEDBACK & DEVELOPMENT

Going forward we can then work together to ensure the design is right for you by making any changes required. I don’t charge separately for changes yet if the requirements change dramatically from the initial brief this will be addressed and the agrrements made in step 1 can be reviewed.

STEP 4: COMPLETION

Once you’re happy with the outcome I can send the appropriate files so your artwork can be put to use. If needed I can recommend a printer or provide this service for you. For vinyl wall art installation is arranged as part of the service.
